At the community center, a volunteer detected an unattended bag beside the desk and moved it to a vacant corner.

Before storing it, she made an announcement so people in the room could identify the bag; no one answered immediately.

A visitor approached and described the bag as rectangular, with a faint scent of perfume, and one item inside: an identical red notebook.

The keeper asked a few more questions because an inaccurate detail could mean the wrong person; there was no way she would return the bag carelessly.

After the owner's confirmation, she recorded the return, and both signed the handout to complete the record.
